THE WHY
At the heart of our outdoor heritage lies a passion for the wild, a commitment to preserving the landscapes that have defined our culture for generations. We are launching the Wyoming Range Hunting and Fishing Expo not only to celebrate our shared traditions but also to invest in the future of our natural resources.
The expo is designed to be more than a gathering—it’s a dynamic platform for conservation, education, and community engagement. With every pass purchased, every conversation sparked, and every shared experience, we are directly supporting hunting and fishing conservation efforts. In fact, 90% of every dollar raised will go straight to programs and initiatives dedicated to protecting wildlife habitats, promoting sustainable practices, and ensuring that the thrill of the hunt and the serenity of fishing continue for generations to come.
The remaining 10% of our funds will be reinvested back into the expo, covering essential administrative costs. This small yet vital allocation allows us to maintain an event that inspires, educates, and brings our community together year after year.
In creating this expo, we are uniting those who love the great outdoors and who believe in a future where conservation and recreation go hand in hand. Together, we can ensure that the pristine beauty of Wyoming’s landscapes is safeguarded, that our outdoor traditions endure, and that every adventure contributes to a legacy of responsible stewardship.
THE WHO
Who We Are

VANCE MCGAHEY
Chairman
I’ve proudly called Wyoming home for over 25 years. As co-founder and co-chair of the Wyoming Range Hunting and Fishing Expo, I get to blend my love for the outdoors with hands-on leadership.
My journey began with seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where I developed a strong foundation in discipline, resilience, and teamwork. After my service, I shifted focus to community engagement and event planning, helping launch the Expo in 2025.
Today, I work to connect nonprofits, conservation groups, and top outdoor brands, managing everything from sponsorships to logistics. Our goal is simple: raise funds for wildlife habitat restoration, youth education, and sustainable resource stewardship.
From the casting pond to the archery range, I’m driven by the camaraderie and energy of this community. Outside of the June event in Kemmerer, I stay focused on expanding year-round conservation efforts and inspiring the next generation of Wyoming sportsmen and women.

EMILY CUNNINGHAM
Treasurer
I’ve called Lincoln County home since I was ten years old, growing up in Star Valley before moving to Diamondville in 2023 with my four amazing kids. I’ve always loved the outdoors and have a deep respect for the wildlife and natural beauty that surrounds us.
Hunting and fishing have been part of my life since childhood, and now I do my best to pass those values on to my children—teaching them to respect the land and the animals that live on it.
For the past four years, I’ve worked at First Bank of Wyoming, helping people reach their financial goals. I have a strong head for numbers and a pretty good memory for names, but more than anything, I genuinely enjoy connecting with people. My love for this community inspires me to show up every day ready to help however I can.
